Nike SB Dunk High Oceanic Airlines Lost

Nike SB ‘Oceanic Airlines’ Dunk High. The all suede upper features germain and chlorine blue colors that play off the fictional Oceanic Airline logo, that is used in many films and television programs such as ‘Lost’. The shoes are offset with white accents on the swoosh, outsole, and mesh tongue. The shoes come complete with two pairs of laces; red and/or white. The insoles of the shoe feature a radar like map of the earth. They are also a ‘Considered Design’ which means that the shoes were designed and materials were picked with the environment in mind.

Gil Scott-Heron – Me and The Devil (video)

// January 19th, 2010 // No Comments » // Stuff I Like, Videos

Via Hypebeast: American poet, musician and dignified revolutionary: Gil Scott-Heron releases a new single along with a visual entitled, Me and The Devil. Best known for his lyrical content in variations of social and political issues during his time, his works have had major influence towards the creation of genres such as Hip Hop and Neo-Soul. His most distinguished piece of work was his 1971 Poem entitled, “The revolution will not be televised” – I’m sure we’ve all heard that quote before, and it originates from this gentleman. His upcoming album has a tentative release date of February 9th.

Kuksi Scupltures…Amazing!

You have to visit this guys site…the details are insane!

Sculptor Kris Kuksi.

Born March 2, 1973, in Springfield Missouri and growing up in neighboring Kansas, Kris spent his youth in rural seclusion and isolation along with a blue-collar, working mother, two much-older brothers and an absent father. Open country, sparse trees, and alcoholic stepfather, perhaps paved the way for an individual saturated in imagination and introversion. His fascination with the unusual lent to his macabre art later in life. The grotesque to him, as it seemed, was beautiful. Reaching adulthood his art blossomed and created a breakthrough of personal freedom from the negative environment experienced during his youth. He soon discovered his distaste for the typical American life and pop culture, feeling that he has always belonged to the ‘Old World’. Yet, Kris’ work is about a new wilderness, refined and elevated, visualized as a cultivation emerging from the corrupt and demoralized fall of modern-day society. A place were new beginnings, new wars, new philosophies, and new endings exist.

Oh the things I can do with these shoes as bases for customs. On some of these Dunks made by Nike, I think they are reaching a bit too far. Like they running out of shit to do. Hey NIKE…I know your listening and  watching. Stop stealing customizers Ideas and hire one of us! Duh…its only beneficial to you.
I don’t like the dotted ones near the bottom.
They look like KOOL-AID stains. lol
The rest of these dunks have nice color ways.
The material on them look to be like felt, leather and mixed ….I can work on the leather ones…somebody get me a few pairs! lol

My thoughts on new Nike Sneakers

// June 12th, 2009 // No Comments » // Sneakers, Stuff I Like, news

Granted…I am not the best blogger. I never claimed to be…I just like putting up stuff that catches my attention or that I like. Seldomly, those are 2 the same thing.

I have been bugging out on how many shoes NIKE has been pumping out. I mean its like they are running anchor on a 400 meter race! Are you running out of ideas in Beaverton?

They have a shit load of color ways that look garbage and materials that I personally dislike. Not as a customizer, but just as a consumer. Felt, textured leather, patent leather…some of this shit is cool…alot of it is a stretch.

I’m just glad that they are finally putting out some good kicks. Shit I don’t even know if this post made any sense?

Just me letting out a thought. lol

As a customizer, it kills me because I can’t paint of half that shit! lol

Recently NIKE put out a few gems. I can finally say I like. For instance these Blue Lobster SB Dunks they just released with Concepts…they are fucking FIRE! The original Orange ones were off the meat rack too.

The other gem is these Jones Beach AF1 los …those are pretty dope.. especially with that clear bottom and the silouhette in it. Nice touch.

The Jordan Hybrids are fire too. I’m not a true Jordan Head so…for these to grab my attention…I’m like wow.

Shit let NIKE fuck up and give me a green light to collabo…I will make Kanye Wests Air Yeezy’s look like Fisher Price “My First Kicks!”

I’m just saying…I’m hand making my shit…imagine if I can just give the order to a machine.

If some of you were mad at my Xbox Alpha Dunks before….wait until I add rocket fuel to your hate!

Yo someone tell NIKE to hire a customizer to really help them push the envelope. It doesn’t have to be me…just someone worthy of creative lisence!

Filippo Perin Paper Sneakers

Filippo Perin Paper Sneakers

The Air Yeezy’s have been quite a challenge for many people who weren’t well connected. If you didn’t get your hands on a pair of Yeezy’s, maybe a paper pair made by Filippo Perin could ease the pain.

The Filippo Perin Paper Sneakers are one of the most creative work of origami that we’ve ever seen. The designs are not limited to Yeezy’s either. Details are incredible, even down to the orange box with label.

First Look at the DJ Hero Turntable Controller

DJ Hero Turntable Controller First Look from Gizmodo on Vimeo.

Activision is working on a game called DJ Hero (think of it as Guitar Hero for house music). Here’s the first shot of the game’s new turntable controller.

It’s notable that all controls seem to be placed on the record, meaning that, just as Guitar Hero can’t teach you guitar, DJ Hero won’t teach you mixing (unless we missed that red, blue and green button standard on vinyl for all these years). Good to know that the musically inclined are keeping those pesky gamers in their place. Look for DJ Hero this fall.

SANTA MONICA, Calif., May 7, 2009 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ — Activision Publishing, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) is set to once again revolutionize how consumers interact with music by releasing three new titles this fall – DJ Hero(TM), Guitar Hero(R) 5 and Band Hero(TM) – that will redefine the company’s popular music gaming platform. The slate will transform the way consumers enjoy and engage with music by offering the largest variety of music genres, innovative technologies and new social entertainment experiences for existing fans and millions of new consumers who previously have not joined Guitar Hero’s global community of fans.
— The company’s groundbreaking DJ Hero expands Guitar Hero’s
signature social gaming to all-new consumers with the addition of
diverse music genres including hip-hop, R&B, Motown, electronica and
dance. Introducing an all-new innovative turntable controller, DJ Hero
transforms players into DJs who rule the club scene by creating original
mixes of popular songs and music from the world’s most exciting
artists and DJs.

— Letting fans continue to fulfill their rock fantasies, Guitar Hero 5
features the hottest rock and roll artists today as well as classic rock
bands and gives players an unprecedented level of control over the way
they play the game with the ability to drop in and out of songs and
change band members, instruments and difficulty levels on the fly.

— The franchises’ first E10+ rated console game, Band Hero delivers
an exciting music collection featuring top-40 hits designed to expand
the appeal to a broad family audience who can play together on the
guitar, drums, bass and microphone and experience a new genre of music.
The game builds upon Guitar Hero’s easy-to-play,
difficult-to-master signature gameplay and allows novice players and
expert fans to join together on their favorite songs.

“Guitar Hero has made music social again and has become one of the most popular ways to experience music,” said Dan Rosensweig, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Guitar Hero franchise. “Today’s fans enjoy a variety of music and are looking for more ways to engage with their favorite songs, artists and fellow fans. These games will let them listen, participate and socialize with music in ways they have never been able to before.”
